7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the items that were discussed:

7:32 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Roger Carfangia- Pistol (absent), Mike Ripley- Black Powder (Absent), Tom Horstman- Trap (absent).

Treasurer’s Report: Chris read the report.

Bills and Communications:    Chris announced that he paid the fall property taxes. 

Pop: Steve turned in $11.

Rental Committee Report:  Sept. 28 and 29 there is a hunter safety program in the main hall from 5 pm-9 pm.  SRU will be renting on Oct. 12 from 4 pm-9 pm. 

Pistol Team:  The new indoor pistol range renovations are almost complete.  The indoor range will re-open soon.  22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team:  Nothing to turn in.  The range is open every other Tuesday until further notice.  The next shoots will be on Sept. 21st and Oct. 5th and 19th.    It cost $3.50 per round of 25 targets and starts at 5 pm.    Anyone is welcome to come and shoot. 

Black Powder:  No report.

Meat Shoot:  No report.  Meat shoots are on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 11:00 am.  

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike Ripley is no longer running the Junior Rifle team.  Anyone that is interested in taking over please contact Mike or a board of directors.    

Archery:  The 20, 30, 40-yard range is open down at the end of trap fields.    

Fun Indoor Shoot:  Dickie announced that the fun shoots are starting in October.  They shoot every Monday at 10 am-till the shooting is done.  Doors open at 9 am.  Everyone is welcome.   .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize. 

Membership:   Brian collected $225, maintenance fund $20, general fund $205, key cards 0.  New members 107.  The current membership is 473 senior life/charter members, 647 total club members.

Old Business:  Steve announced the freezer in the kitchen was unplugged to defrost and can be plugged back in if anyone needs to use it.  If anyone is interested in helping the club get an EIN number, please contact the club’s treasurer. Without an EIN number, the club is unable to receive a small game of chance license.      

New Business:  Nothing was brought up at this meeting.
